New Adventure

My new adventure begins today ~ I ordered tickets to see Pippin (a 70s Broadway musical) in Tokyo!  That’s right, I’m going back to the land of sparkles to see Kimeru again.  He’s sharing the lead with Aiba Hiroki (so I bought tickets to two performances to see both).  The musical is in October, so I have a few months to plan and get ready.

I think I’ll tack on a few days in Seoul, Korea, making this a super-sized sparkly trip.  YAY!

Korea Sparkling 韓国スパークリング

Claudia saw this on TV and sent me the info.  Apparently, Korea is Sparkly! (or so says their slogan)  Check out their tourism commercial here: Korea Sparkling Commercial on Youtube (韓国スパークリングコマーシャル)

Where is Korea? Ah, it’s very close to Japan and China.  Er…is it still called the U.S.S.R.?  *laughs*  This might be an old map.

So… guess where I’m going next? (^-^)

More Beach もうビーチ

Here are some more beach pictures.  I’ve been very relaxed here and very, very sleepy.

the Sound 浦

Since I’m on an island right off the shore, there is a sound behind our house.  A sound is defined as: a relatively narrow passage of water between larger bodies of water or between the mainland and an island.  We have a long boardwalk that goes out to the sound as seen here… 浦

It’s a very pretty backyard (swamp, whatever).  We went to look for clams and watch the birds.

Every summer, my extended family goes to the beach for a week of relaxation and fun.  This is the lovely Atlantic Ocean in North Carolina.  Look for more beach fun on my BeSparkly blog this week!

My Favorite Thing

My favorite thing is my car!  I love my car.  I bought her four years ago and named her Cheyanne.  I’ve always driven Toyotas, though I wouldn’t mind having an Audi to putz around in.  ^^  I’m heading to the beach on Friday for a week of surf and sun.

And then here’s a pic of me… just hanging out in my office today.

Er… I don’t have a tan yet so maybe I’ll just save my skin this year and sunscreen it up at the beach.  Every year I say I will be good and wear SPF 45 and then I get pouty and put SPF 15 on so I don’t look like a marshmallow in a bathing suit.  *sigh*

we feel fine

I saw this website on the news the other day ~ it’s really neat.  It finds phrases and sentences on the web that start with “I feel” or have the word “feel” in it and then let’s you read them.  It’s hard to explain, so go check it out for yourself.  When you get to the site, click the “Open We Feel Fine” box and it will load for you.  Many colorful dancing balls will appear like so (see pic) and you can click on them to read what they say.  Squares are pictures.

Let’s see if mine gets on there –>  I feel sparkly.  ^^
