Andy & Solbi

While I was sick last week, I started watching the Korean Variety show called “We Just Married.” The show is about four fake celebrity couples (fake couples, real celebrities) acting as newlyweds in a reality TV sort of way. Of the four couples, I am greatly amused by Andy and Solbi the most. They are definitely a sparkly couple ^^ But don’t forget, they are only acting as a couple for the show though some real sparks might start flying soon. *fingers crossed*

This fake celeb couple is too adorable for words and I’m a little addicted to them right now. Solbi actually has a little crush on Andy, so I hope he develops a crush on her too!!

*I will update with more episodes as they are released and subbed. Also, if you do watch it, when Solbi mentions “Eric” she is referring to Andy’s band mate, a close friend of his. Updated: 5/25/08

Earth “yester”Day

So I missed Earth Day! GAH! I didn’t really miss it, I guess, I’ve been sick for the last few days and stuck in bed ~ so I have a good excuse. I did manage to put the recycling out yesterday morning so… hooray!!!!!!

Car Wash

I decided not to go to the Green Apple Festival in DC today because of all the thunderstorms. Oh well, I sat in the dark instead… does that count? LOL

Yesterday (before I knew it was going to rain today) I went and got my car washed. I’ve always loved going through the car wash ever since I was a kid. ^^

Earth Day is Tuesday!

Sakura Matsuri Festival D.C.

This past Saturday I went to the Sakura Matsuri Festival in Washington D.C.  I had so much fun!  You can check out the National Cherry Blossom Festival every year in D.C. here: http://www.nationalcherryblossomfestival.org.

Here are some of the giant cherry blossom (sakura) balloons at the Cherry Blossom parade.  So cute!

View of the Japanese Street Festival (that’s the Capital building in the background).

And then I made an origami heart and hung it on the wish tree ~ ^^

Origami hearts are sparkly!!

Green Apple

I’m going to attempt to make it to the Green Apple Festival in DC for Earth Day next week. I was thinking of taking the train up (ya know, to be green) and making it a day.

Green Apple has festivals around the country so check out if one is near you! They have one in Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Miami, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. They have A-list musicians and celebs that come out to talk about the environment and entertain us with as little energy consumption as possible. It will be at the National Mall in DC and Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago for my Chicagoan friends.

The Washington DC venue starts at noon on Sunday, April 20th, 2008 and admission is free. I’m looking forward to seeing The Roots play. I can’t help but love their song, “The Seed.”

Wall-E Display

Remember the giant Wall-E display I took a picture of at the movie theater in February?? Well, it had disappeared on me for a few weeks, but I found him in a different hallway the other day when I went to see The Other Boleyn Girl (which is quite riveting).

The countdown to Wall-E is still on ~ June 27th is right around the corner and I’m already super excited!!

I paid homage to the Wall-E display. ^^
