Happy Halloween!

I’ve been MIA for a few weeks ~ well, I attended two weddings, one in Chicago and then the next weekend one in Estes Park, Colorado (actually, I was the officiant for the Colorado wedding ^^)

Here is Longs Peak in Estes Park…apparently a friend of mine has hiked up it or near it or something crazy and outdoorsy that I would never do.  Yay for her.  Boooo for me ~ hahahaha, get it?  Booooooooo ~

In case you didn’t know, Estes Park is home to the Stanley Hotel where Stephen King stayed at in the 70s and got the idea for his book The Shining (the movie was filmed somewhere else, the mini-series was filmed at the Stanley).  With Halloween around the corner, I thought it’d be fun to post a picture I took of the Stanley Hotel (I had my hair done at the hotel’s salon for the wedding).

It wasn’t too creepy during the day, but it sits on this hill and with the white gothic exterior and mountain backdrop, it does sort of scream CREEPY!  Actually, it’s very lovely.

You know what’s super sparkly? The fact that my blog survived the upgrade!!! I almost lost it, but here we are, with a few things to tweak and fix, but all my content is still alive and well. I have a few tech support people and my go-to-girl Michi to thank ~ THANK YOU!!!!!!!

The BooSparkly Halloween banner is up!  This year BeSparkly is ready for a boostacular Halloween ~ I want to be Alice in Wonderland, but I haven’t decided if I’m going to dress up this year or not.  (^-^)

Got me a pumpkin today! I love autumn, it’s my favorite season. Today was also the first day that I needed a coat (it was cold this morning). Ahhh ~ welcome Fall… welcome. (^-^)/
