I spent the day cleaning and working ~ hahaha ~ but I did manage to get to a BBQ on Saturday and enjoy the weekend festivities.

I am going to spend a weekend in DC soon and then I have back to back trips to San Diego and Chicago, all in June. YAY!

I’m home! I went half-way around the world and back and I am already planning my next trip. I hope to go back to Tokyo soon and perhaps visit Moscow this year (I’ve always wanted to go to Russia).

Every time I go to Japan, I take these fun pictures in the photo booths (popular amongst Japanese teenage girls). I didn’t take too many pictures this trip because I was busy socializing with old and new friends. Oh well, there’s always next time. ^^

I’m having a blast in Tokyo. It’s been rainy and warm, which we all know equals humidity. So far, I’ve been shopping, hung out with my friends, met some new ones and of course today is the concert. YAY!

I took some fun pictures…

First, you know I love being Green so I was very happy to get on a bus that is a hybrid. Come on USA, get with it!!

And then I had some fries at McDonalds and I ordered a small drink. I was very excited to see how small it was! I don’t like to drink a lot so the small in the US is too big for me, but this one was just right. Also, it says Bubbly Fun. BUBBLY FUN!

So this is my 4th trip to Tokyo in 5 years… I really like the place!

I arrived with no trouble, but in case you didn’t know, Japan is seriously trying to prevent the flu from getting in right now so when we landed, we had to sit in our seats while a team of people in face masks, goggles and plastic scrubs came on board and checked EVERYONE for possible flu symptoms.  Even the crew had to pass the body temp scanner and fill out a questionnaire.

The unfortunate part is that they made everyone wait until the whole plane was done and I was one of the first people cleared.  Oh, and we were also given face masks and required to wear them in the airport at all times.

It was a 13 and half hour flight with an extra hour tacked on the end, but overall, it was an easy experience :)  i already met up with my friend for a late dinner and today (it is Friday morning in Japan right now) I am going out to explore.

Well what do you know, it’s Cinco de Mayo!  I celebrated by packing for my trip since I leave in the morning.  My next post will be from my favorite place on the planet, Tokyo!

So I’m leaving for Tokyo in a few days ~ wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ~ I’m pretty excited.  I really love Japan, though I should say I really love Tokyo since I haven’t explored anywhere else in Japan other than Tokyo and the airport.

It finally got warm here, actually, it got HOT, so it’s nice that winter is over.  We skipped over spring and appear to be in summer now.  I even broke out the shorts the other day.
